THE RAINBOW BRIDGE
Just this side of heaven is a place called Rainbow Bridge. When an animal dies that has been especially close to someone here, that pet goes to Rainbow Bridge. There are meadows and hills for all of our special friends so they can run and play together. There is plenty of food and water and sunshine, and our friends are warm and comfortable.
All the animals who have been ill and old are restored to health and vigour; those who were hurt or maimed are made whole and strong again, just as we remember them in our dreams of days gone by. The animals are happy and content, except for one small thing - they each miss someone very special to them, who had to be left behind. They all run and play together, but the day comes when one suddenly stops and looks into the distance. His bright eyes are intent, his eager body begins to quiver. Suddenly he begins to run from the group, flying over the green grass, his legs carry him faster and faster.
You have been spotted, and when you and your special friend meet, you cling together in joyous reunion, never to be parted again. The happy kisses rain upon your face, your hands again caress the beloved head, and you look once more into the trusting eyes of your pet, so long gone from your life but never absent from your heart. Then together you and your special pet cross the Rainbow Bridge.

Chanaya sadly gained her wings and left us at the age of 81/2.
She
was a wonderful, wise lady, a real matriarch of our kennels.
Affectionately known as "Bum Biter" to our good friend Julie (long
story) she was a great protector of both us and her puppies.
Naya was
always the dark horse at a show and many many times won big over top
Australian and International dogs, one could never under estimate her,
she had a presence that served her well.
|
Aside from her show career she was an amazing friend, dedicated, loyal
and was always around to cheer us up when we were down, Im sure she
could read our minds.
Nay Nay will be missed by all that love her. Thank you for some great
times Big Girl. |

On the 14th of November 2008 at the age of 8 1/2, my beautiful Jourdain received his wings and left us.
Jourd was the most amazing male, he loved all puppies and was often found in the whelping box helping out the new mums. He was a patient
boy with the youngsters and a wonderful role model for them.
Jourd was a great ambassador for the breed, winning over the hearts of all that met him. |

This special boy touched my heart in a way I cant explain and every day spent with him was an honour, but now his leavng has broken my heart in a way I could never have imagined.
I miss my "kid" so much, our home will never be the same.
I ONLY WANTED YOU
They say memories are golden
well maybe that is true.
I never wanted memories,
I only wanted you.
A million times I needed you,
a million times I cried.
If love alone could have saved you
you never would have died.
In life I loved you dearly,
In death I love you still.
In my heart you hold a place
no one could ever fill.
If tears could build a stairway
and heartache makes a lane,
I'd walk the path to heaven
and bring you back again.
Our family chain is broken,
and nothing seems the same.
But as God calls us one by one,
the chain will link again. |

Christmans 2007 wasn't the happy time of year that it was supposed to be, with the unexpected passing of one of the Greats to have ever set foot on our shores.
Our beautiful Argento certainly made his mark on the standard of Australian bred dogues, producing many Champions and siring some impressive offspring.
Our Big Guy will be sadly missed by myself and his handler Andrew who spent many happy days together.
Be at peace my beautiful boy, I miss you more than words can say.

If tears could build a stairway, and memories a lane, I would walk
right up to heaven and bring you home again.
There are no words to describe the loss of a wonderful dog, our home will never be the same.
Chevelle showed me the meaning of unconditional love. Chevelle was my foundation bitch and confirmed what loving and faithful dogs this breed really are. |

My beautiful Brieux received his wings this sad day in May. He was and will forever be my "Little Belgian Bozo" who gave so much love and effection. Brieux was my special boy who will be greatly missed, but at least I see him live on in his children and grandchildren.
Take care my little man, we will be together again one day. |
