At Chienparadis our dogs have plenty of room to run, play and swim to their hearts content. Our dogs are free to develop as nature intended, without restriction or cruelty but with lots of love and attention. Our aim is to help better the standard of the Dogue de Bordeaux in this country by breeding for quality. It is for this reason that we have selected our breeding stock very carefully. We hope that by doing this coupled with lots of freedom and love we will be able to produce calm, stable and strong Dogues that will fit easily into a family environment.
From my original Dogues, Australian Champion Runderkraal Jourdain and Australian Champion Runderkraal Chevelle, I have been very fortunate to have produced a number of off-spring that have gained their Australian Championship Titles and along the way winning many In Group and In Show awards.
In 2001 I was offered Ataraxia The Jazz, whom I showed to her Australian Champion title and in January 2002 Jazz produced some lovely puppies from Jourdain for me, this now gave me enough youngsters to enjoy showing and to start building a successful and enjoyable kennel, remembering that my Dogues are always first and foremost my pets before all else.
I have formed a close friendship with Dogue de Bordeaux breeders in Belgium and the United States. In 2002 I spent time with them attending the World Dog Show in Amsterdam and visiting Kennels in Europe. We have been able to work together for the betterment of the breed, and in early 2003 Brieux De L'aube Rouge arrived in Australia from Belgium to live at Chienparadis, followed by Int Ch. Ndl Ch. GrandeRouge Lucciano (Argento) in 2004, along with NZ Ch. Kancara Aleda Dasharn Cardel and Kancara Angelique in 2006. The most recent import to reside here at Chienparadis is the stunning Vincent Al Gos Yagant, all the way from Argentina.
Always Remember - "He is your friend, your defender, your dog. You are his life, his love, his leader. He will be yours, faithful and true to the last beat of his heart. You owe it to him to be worthy of such devotion." - Anonymous
